#0183;#32;The test is a dry batch grinding test in which the mill is rotated and the sample ground until it reaches 80% passing Tyler #10 mesh, or mm (Starkey et al., 1994). Because the time required to achieve 80% passing mm is not known before starting the test, an initial grinding time is selected, the sample is ground then removed from the mill and screened on a large Tyler #10 mesh screen.
